Strong UN reactions to Israeli school attack

At least 15 people have been killed and many more injured in an Israeli strike on a UN school in northern Gaza. Among the dead were an infant. UN head of humanitarian affairs called the attack “appalling”.

Many refugees had taken shelter in schools, says a spokesperson for the department of health, Ashraf al-Qidra, to Reuters. Several medical centers around Beit Hanoun receive the injured.
