20 February 2015: a car bomb and suicide bomber exploded at the Central Hotel in Mogadishu, killing at least 25 people
23 January 2015: a car bomb exploded against the Syl Hotel in Mogadishu, killing at least 5 people
4 January 2015: a car bomb exploded against Somali National Security Forces in Mogadishu resulting in at least 4 people killed
25 December 2014: gunmen gained entry to Mogadishu International Airport killing at least 12 people
14 December 2014: mortar rounds landed within Mogadishu International Airport
4 December 2014: a car bomb exploded against a UN convoy leaving Mogadishu International Airport, killing at least 4 people
15 October 2014: a car bomb detonated against a cafe in Mogadishu, injuring at least 5 people
31 August 2014: 2 car bombs exploded in Mogadishu, killing at least 2 people
9 July 2014: a car bomb detonated against Villa Somalia followed by gunmen gaining entry
24 May 2014: a car bomb detonated against the Mogadishu Parliament building followed by gunmen gaining entry, killing at least 1 person and wounding at least 9
10 March 2014: explosions detonated at three locations across Mogadishu
27 February 2014: a car bomb exploded outside a cafe in Mogadishu, killing at least 8 people
21 February 2014: an attack on Villa Somalia, killing at least 9 people
13 February 2014: a car bomb exploded near the gate of Mogadishu International Airport, killing at least 6 people
1 January 2014: 2 car bombs exploded at the Jazeera Hotel near Mogadishu International Airport, killing 11 people; there was also indirect fire into Mogadishu International Airport
