Philippines travel advice

Typhoon Maysak (locally named ‘Chedeng’) is expected to enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on 1 April. Maysak is currently classified as a Category 5, Super Typhoon.

The typhoon is expected to make landfall over Northern or Central Luzon, particularly Aurora, Cagayan, Isabela, Quezon and Bicol regions from around 3 April. Some travel disruption is expected over the long Easter weekend. You should monitor weather forecasts and follow the advice of local authorities and your travel company.
