Pope Francis is due to visit the Philippines on 15 to 19 January. There are likely to be significant delays and disruptions to traffic and normal business, as huge crowds are expected to attend events in Metro Manila and Tacloban. The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines has also imposed certain flight restrictions. This has led to many domestic and some international flights being cancelled on 15 to 19 January. Check with your airline or travel company before flying during this period.
