A 42-year-old woman was killed in an ambush in Panay Avenue, Barangay Paligsahan, Quezon City on Thursday evening.
The victim was identified as Menchu Gochingco, human resources (HR) manager of Monolith Construction and Development Corporation.
According to witnesses, four unidentified men riding two motorcycles approached Gochingco’s car at around 6 p.m. One of them got off the motorcycle and fired at the victim.
Gochingco was rushed to Capitol Medical Center but died in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) after a few hours.
Authorities have released the artist’s sketch of two of the suspects involved in the crime.
The victim’s employer also announced a P200,000 reward for anyone who can identify the suspects.
According to Quezon City Police District Director Senior Supt. Joel Pagdilao, they already have a lead on the motive behind the crime.
