On 5, 6 and 7 July 2015 there were suicide bomb attacks in Jos (Plateau State), Kano (Kano State) and Zaria (Kaduna State) respectively. There is a continuing high threat from terrorism particularly in the period up to the end of Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr (culminating around the date of 19th July 2015).
