Mexico travel advice

Hurricane Patricia, a Category 5 hurricane, made landfall in Mexico at 1815 local time, October 23. It has since been downgraded to category 1, but still remains strong. The affected areas are experiencing heavy rainfall and there is a risk of landslides and flooding. The Mexican authorities remain in a state of alert and are advising extreme caution.
